Marlee set to release her tuneful new single 'Room of Mine' this Friday

Marlee is a self confessed real life cartoon character. Larger than life, her persona is as theatrical as it is endearing. Her new single, ‘Room Of Mine’ is out this Friday, a song recorded during the first lockdown.

Marlee: “ It’s about having a little crush on a fictional character and fantasising a relationship with them - something my friends and I have certainly been guilty of doing, especially in this pandemic where there hasn’t been much going on socially

Marlee comes from the Isle Of Wight and the twenty four year old has performed at The Royal Albert Hall, Indigo at The 02 and The Isle Of Wight Festival. Picking up her first guitar at the age of fifteen, her music is perhaps best described as energetic, fresh and in some instances, dreamy.

Her original material draws from a multitude of genres from Stevie Nicks to St Vincent. Combine that with her love of theatre and drag - Marlee is certainly one to watch.

‘Room Of Mine’ follows on from previous releases 'Requiem’ and ‘The Attractive Housewife’. The song has an incredible wall of acoustic goodness underpinning a soft, tuneful vocal.

‘Room Of Mine’ is released this Friday and is available to pre-save here.
