CHAY SNOWDON release party anthem 'Loud Shirts'

CHAY SNOWDON are a band with character. Taking their influences from Glam Rock and power charged contemporary indie, if one work could describe their persona it would be 'fun'.

Their new single, 'Loud Shirts' is out today (the 19th of February) and is lifted from the bands debut EP which is due out next month.

'Loud Shirts' is the perfect antidote for those missing messy nights at a a packed gig. The song is an audible party as the band explain: "It was the first song written that solely had the live shows in mind. It’s purpose is to get the crowd down the front and going for it. It’s a song that has been in our set for a few years, but never gets old to play! It has become ‘one of those songs’ that our regular gig goers all know and anticipate in our sets, it has most definitely been a tune that has been gagging for a release. So, we finally felt it deserved to be recorded so fans can dance around at home and drift away into a dream world of mosh pits and chanting."

Recorded during the pandemic, the new single was recorded in a live room and in a caravan - probably with the band all wearing those insane shirts. With heavyweight supporters such as Steve Lamacq and BBC Introducing, Chay Snowdon are a band with a bright post-lockdown future. After already supporting The Snuts and The Sherlocks, the band excel in a live environment. Until then, the next best thing is here. Steam 'Loud Shirts' here.
