JACKO HOOPER To Release Insanely Brilliant New Single And Music Video This Friday

Published on 7 March 2021 at 06:51

Brighton based singer songwriter Jacko Hooper is set to unveil his cerebral new song 'This Was The Earth' this Friday, the 12th of March along with a dark and brilliant music video to accompany.

'This Was The Earth' was written and recorded at home in true DIY style, with assistance from Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds mixer Josh Trinnaman.

Hooper:I don’t feel that the original story of why I wrote the song is necessarily the most important thing, I think the fact people can listen to it and all of a sudden it becomes a different story with a totally different meaning is the best thing of all, to be able to connect to it people need it to be their story, not mine”.

The song is poignant; the music video sinister but not without humour - there is a depth and intelligence to Jacko Hooper's music that is refreshing.

With a European tour under his belt and live shows with James Bay, James Blunt and Keifer Sutherland also on his C.V, Hooper is also one of the most hardworking performers in the UK, running his own promotion company and boutique record label as well as forging his own career.

'This Was The Earth' is out this Friday the 12th of March. Follow Jacko Hooper on Spotify here to be one of the first to hear the new single.
