The talented teenage artist Edie Yvonne recently released her latest track 'Darkness Bliss' which saw the Los Angeles based performer introduce listeners to a more experimental side of her song writing.

Following up her pop hit 'Queen Bee', this latest single has already amassed almost 20,000 streams since its release which is no mean feat. With a dark sounding guitar and Edie's trademark pop vocal, the song is a brooding tale of a woman (or young lady) scorned by a friend. "..I know what you did..." she sings almost threateningly as the atmosphere and tension builds. At a mere two minutes and seventeen seconds in length, Edie is straight to the point and with her intensity here.

Produced by Nicky Swedin and Cormac Liotta for Rrose, 'Darkness Bliss' sits nicely in Edie Yvonne's catalogue of releases. Previous singles 'In The Rain' (which was written in the rain one night during a loud LA storm) and 'On Your Mind' show that she is a talented and diverse songwriter. Of the latter release she said: "This song is based on miscommunications with someone I care about. Wondering how to connect, asking why there was such emotional distance at that time. -- asking how to love someone while not be able to relate on some level."

Edie Yvonne is currently working on a full length album titled 'Girl Code'. If 'Darkness Bliss' is any indication, this will be a must-listen album from a talented songwriter. At the tender age of just fourteen, the sky really is the limit for Edie Yvonne.
