Drawing inspiration from bands such as The Smashing Pumpkins, The Cure, School of Seven Bells, Deftones and The 1975, Expert lovers are an alternative rock band who place the pop formula in a cauldron of electroshock therapy.
The Los Angeles-based outfit puts the sweat of its live shows into its recordings, culminating in the latest single ‘Blossom’, a heavy, pummelling track featuring bright vocal hooks and head-bobbing guitar lines. This latest song captures the aura of letting your innermost desires out into the light.
Making their debut in 2020 with the track ‘400 Horses’, a confident rocker combining danceable grooves and simmering guitar riffs, ‘Blossom’ latches onto the same vibe, but refines the meaning of the band with its psychedelic tendencies making the latest addition to Expert Lovers’ repertoire that much richer.
Expert Lovers are ready to step into the spotlight at the close of this year, with a string of singles, two Eps, ample press, a new music video, and a little magic under its belt. ‘Blossom’ is a brilliant cap to a successful two years for the LA rockers.
