Energetic West Yorkshire duo DARLINGs have today released their new single 'The Devil' along with a captivating music video.
'The Devil' is the lead single from the outfits forthcoming 'Glitter Years EP' which marks their first release since COVID hit.
DARLINGs' debut EP, 'Pink Cloud' was released in 2020 and was produced by Gordon Raphael (The Strokes). Around this time the duo brought their memorable live show to the stage, supporting Johnny Lloyd.
The music video was filmed in a derelict Manchester factory, and created by Happy Daze. The atmosphere they have created together is captivating and fits the tone of 'The Devil' to pefection.
'The Devil' is self produced and mixed by the band and the sound is full; a solid beat drives the song while 80's synths and a catchy guitar hook bring the song together. DARLINGs have produced a perfect, memorable and uplifting song that marks their post-pandemic resurgence.
'The Devil' is out now on all major streaming platforms.
