Sonderminds has today released his second single. 'Blindfolds', the follow up to last year's debut release 'Faux Pas'.
Paul Piper is the man behind Sonderminds, who when playing live he has a collection of friends and local musicians to complete the line-up.
Hailing from Darlington in the North- East, Piper writes all his own music, with two others helping out on drums and guitar when it comes to recording: "Blindfolds was recorded in parts, one being the drums at our local practice/ recording room the Sawmill and the rest I just did at
home. My mate and top music whizz Sam Kennedy mix and mastered it while also providing some tasty guitar licks towards the
end of the track!"
'Blindfolds' starts with a dark sounding and mood setting guitar that sounds foreboding; the atmosphere Piper has created is captivating, the vocal tone and phrasing on point.
About the single, Piper says: "This track I think is mainly about being stuck doing something you know you shouldn't or something that you keep going back to despite your best judgement but then just kinda winging it and seeing how it plays out. Be it a relationship, friendship, lifestyle choice or whatever it may be."
'Blindfolds' is out now on all major streaming platforms.
