Together for four years now - the America-based four-piece ‘Morning Trips’, along with their expansive sound - have been described by the Northwest Florida Daily News as “influenced by a gumbo of dream pop, shoegaze, R&B, and ‘80s music.” With this thought at the forefront of our mind, we can only agree. Their newest single ‘We Have No Time (For Now)’ follows the same enthusiastic drive that their past releases enthral us in.

Hailing from Fort Walton Beach, Florida, Morning Trips have today released their new song. Alongside their latest hit, they have also made a music video for it - showcasing a nostalgic, MTV spirited motion with Sonic’s of a late 90’s/early 00’s guitar influenced pop jam with modern 2020’s touches.

The blend of comforting yet pulsating feelings ripple with every riff; Morning Trips aim to morph all their creative influences and beliefs into a perfect song every time they get into the studio. Talking ahead of their release: “We want to create open, progressive, and diverse music for people from all walks of life to find something of solace in.”

So far, their discography walks the talk; each track indeed serves as its own singular, stand-out ingredient, while landing as decidedly cohesive and complementary alongside counterparts in the stew pot. The joyful four-piece have seen a series of state-wide tours to the tune of 50+ shows, showing that their creative nous is not limited to just media success, but their will power extends to a wealth of musical experience.

With founding punk-era nostalgia and saccharine synth mixed in for good measure, we are sure you will quickly fall in love with this one.

We Have No Time (For Now) is out now and available on all major streaming platforms.
