Jaz Kutassy brings us her new single “Feel Something”, written to make listeners have the feel good factor after hearing the song.

Feel Something” was written by Jaz as a way to address the monotonous boring cycle of lockdowns and numbness caused by restrictions and current times. The track invites listeners to remember not to take the smaller pleasures for granted and enjoy life, go out, be with your friends and run head first into the embarrassing situations that Jaz herself finds herself in daily.

Jaz Kutassy initially wrote the track while studying at university and submitted  "Feel Something” as part of her work. Written, recorded and submitted in a two week timescale is an impressive achievement considering the standard of the output on show here. The song serves as a reminder and a memory for Jaz looking back on university life - which was completed during the pandemic.

A mix of genres can be clearly heard with the performer taking influence from bedroom pop artists such as  Lizzy McAlpine alongside indie bands such as The Wombats and Catfish And The Bottlemen,

While her previous single release, “Brightside” showcased Jaz as an impressive lyricist and songwriter, this new release  showss even greater progression with a total care-free, uplifting harmony. With multiple appearances on BBC Introducing and the songwriting ability demonstrated, only good things are expected for Jaz Kutassy.

“Feel something” is out now on all major streaming services.
