Naturally, as listeners of a genre that dominates the United Kingdom, it is easy to forget that indie rock and any subgenre that fits the bill stretches far beyond our own nation. But what The Arthurs prove to us with their latest release is that the deep mine of precious indie sounds can be found across the globe.

Finding unique sounds in their Netherlands home, The Arthurs have released ‘Window’ - the fifth single from their second album ‘Glass’. While you may be able to resonate their music with bands such as The Pixies, The Doors, The Smiths and Nirvana, this group of Dutch musicians blend their own unique sound that is worth your while.

This release follows up the successes that the band garnered from their fourth single ‘Something With Oceans’ - which, according to UK-based Indie Groove Music Blog: “has a dreamlike sound that comes from the heart, as they take Britpop guitar and combine it with noughties indie to create a familiar sound that is bound to unite music lovers from different generations".

With drummer Blonk, lead guitarist Dylano Hahury and bassist Martin Memelink, The Arthurs are on a crash course to living a successful music life, and with the release of ‘Windows’, they’ve put themselves in good stead for it.

'Window' is out now on all major streaming platforms.
