Blue Sky”, the latest release from Australian duo Arches instantly appeals with its smooth vocal and airy demeanour. The synths and the guitar hook pump further life into "Blue Sky", forming an all round fantastic single release.

Arches is made up of Mason and Samuela and "Blue Sky" was created in Mason's studio. With echoes of early The 1975, the duo aren't afraid to transcend genres, albeit in a captivating fashion. Altogether, the track is a bona-fide feelgood summer anthem.

In writing the song, it formed initially as a simple chord progression on the guitar and  recorded via an iPhone. Soon the electric guitar and drums were added to help form the finished article we hear before us.

Arches' past releases have gained them some strong praise being compared to artists such as Dominic Fike and Frank Ocean. This latest release looks set to keep them gaining more and more listeners. “Blue Sky” looks set to firmly cement Arches place in the Australian music scene and with their debut live show booked for April the 2nd in Brisbane’s The Zoo, fans can get to see what all the fuss is about.

“Blue Sky” the new summery feelgood bop by Arches is out now on all major streaming platforms.
