SINGLE OF THE WEEK - RAE 'Never Meant To Start A Witch Hunt'

'Never Meant To Start A Witch Hunt' is the debut single from the new rebellious Leeds based quartet. Formerly known as The 0rmstons, RAE's debut single is full of chaotic energy. It has an immediate groove that wouldn't be out of place on the soundtrack to a Harley Quinn movie. An anthemic chorus surrounded by a stomping guitar riff leads the listener to believe that RAE are serious contenders and ones to watch. ****

The single is released on June 12th worldwide on all major streaming platforms and can be pre-saved here https://ditto.fm/never-meant-to-start-a-witch-hunt

More singles coming our way and Canadian Grunge/Alt Hip Hop Rocker Krosst Out is on fire with 'Edges' (Out now). This second single from the upcoming long form release Phone Calls With Ghosts is equally lyrically sharp and vocally emotional...LOUD HOUND who hails from the US East Coast gets all authentic and candid on Melancholy Boy (out now). Tame Impala meets Beck and one to add to your summer playlist..Untitled Social Experiment release How A Feather Feels on the 17th of June. The video is brilliantly put together and compliments a stunning vocal..Long Life by Waiting For Smith (out now) is comforting inoffensive folk pop. The stunning video for the song was shot in Madrid & the song has had radio play from Huw Stephens & Jo Whiley...Hertfordshire based Maxx Palmer's Game Show (Out Now) has strong melodies and a fun accompanying video. Previous single Lost On Me has been played on BBC Introducing and US radio..proper old school Seattle grunge via Sheffield is the order of the day from Caesar Did It with Changing, a rip roaring hook heavy tune, the third single from their upcoming album..Storytelling folk singer songwriter Katherine Abbott'latest release, Lullaby For Lucas has a delicate summer evening vibe...DIY project Found Instruments have produced a video to accompany new release Cause And Effect; their third release and all are worth seeking out..Two Door Cinema Club fail to impress with Tiptoes...while the increasingly popular Sports Team do nothing to live up to their hype with new shouty track  Camel Crew...Oasis fans have been clamouring for years to hear a Liam sang version of Sad Song and it has finally arrived with the release of the version from the Liam Gallagher MTV Unplugged performance..Frank Turner returns with Bob which is a by the numbers Frank Turner tune..the talented Sammy Brue releases Gravity and while it is perhaps one of his weaker releases this year it doesn't dull the anticipation for the release of his album Crash Test Kid released on 12th June..and finally The Blinders finish off this weeks round up with Mule Track - it's loud, it's raw and unfortunately starkly average work from a band with a great debut album behind them..
