Leeds-based rockers Wolforna have released their latest tune ‘Reset’. This latest self-admitted heavy offering follows ‘Writing On The Walls’ from earlier in the year as the band continue to make a name for themselves.
The four-piece admittedly fuse classic rhythm sensibilities with sharp lead undertones with crisp vocals with pace-setting bass and drums. This latest one is no different. The band proudly proclaim their latest work as a fearlessly triumphant powerhouse anthem, and you can bet its already hooked live crowds in their more-than-energetic shows.
‘Reset’, which was produced at Bradford’s Prospect Studios, poses a musical representation of a journey through a moment of anger. Delivering emphatic verses and choruses that represent the building of frustration through top lyrics – a fit of rage is present through a fierce riff with a calm before the storm type middle section. This quiet build up precedes a ferocious shredding guitar solo which caps the song excellently.
Wolforna have had a busy 2022 so far, following major support slots for THE HARA and BlackWaters. Their autumn and winter schedule is jam-packed, too, with dates that incorporate everything from headliners across Halifax and Leeds to a mighty opener for False Heads. ‘Reset’ really asserts the band’s frenetic brand of alternative rock. This one came out on the 4th of November – it was a real firecracker before Guy Fawkes’ weekend.
