Dundee based singer-songwriter Callum Gibson has released his debut single, 'Summer'.
An artist who had seen his career derailed due to Covid, Gibson has been performing stunning online gigs on both Facebook and Instagram as part of the Mobilize Music Project. Now with things looking much more positive in regards to the pandemic, Gibson is ready to get back on track with his debut single, 'Summer'.
About the track, the talented songwriter says: "“Summer” is about a character who reminisces on past memories that took place during the summer. I think we all have those memories from when we were younger and care free and this served as the inspiration behind writing the song."
Callum Gibson has prepared for his major debut release by releasing demos and live songs.
Showing a maturity beyond his years, 'Summer' is a reflective, acoustic song from Gibson that is an example of classic songwriting. The phrasing is something to behold, the warm, acoustic sound leaving the listener wanting more.
