Jennifer Alvarado spills out the very best of her beautiful vocalism and poignant storytelling on her latest EP ‘Songbird: Part One’. Standing as the first of a two-part project that illustrates the journey of enduring and healing from a toxic situation, the creation contains Alvarado’s hit song ‘Curious’, as well as her latest single ‘Rock This Way’ – which premiered in June this year.

Produced by Ricky Rodriguez of Bombhouse Recordings in Morganyon, NC, the music that emerges from Jennifer’s latest production shows her evolution both as a writer and as a musician. The North Carolina-born talent uses a disposition of nostalgic storytelling and feather-throttled harmonies to guide listeners through her imaginative and creative mind.

‘Songbird: Part One’ acts as a beautiful first piece to what is expected to be a masterful full release when it is completed. Her music has a country sensibility with a pop current flowing through it, and her voice poses as the glue that sticks everything together.

In some ways, her music feels beautifully archaic. But her up-to-speed lyricism injects a dynamic of modernity into her production process. The EP will no doubt bring her the success that she is now used to.

She has been recognised locally for her song writing and was named ‘One to Watch’ by Nashville Songwriters Association in Spring 2021 and Spring 2022. Jennifer Alvarado was also named the ‘2021 Country Artist of the Year’ by Indie Star Radio, and her single ‘Curious’ was a finalist for ‘Best Pop Song for the World Songwriting Awards and it won the award in the Winter 2022 Indie Songwriting Awards.

Jennifer also has nominations for five International Singer Songwriter Association Awards, including “Female Vocalist of the Year”, a Josie Award for Female Music Video of the Year for “Filthy Water”, and a Carolina Music Award for Country Female Vocalist of the Year.

Her brand-new EP will no doubt ameliorate her current successes.
