Post-Hardcore outfit Static Dress put on a conceptually phenomenal show that was sadly marred by technical hitches.

Anticipation was high for the quartet after the monstrous year they've had - a debut album that received rave reviews from critics along with playing Reading & Leeds and opening Bring Me The Horizon's Malta Weekender in the summer.

Opening their set with "Fleahouse", 170bpm of pure riffage, the crowd responded with open arms and open vocal chords. The energy never dipped throughout the entire set even in slower songs like "Attempt 8" or "Marisol" - which is just as euphoric live as it is on the recording.

Atmospheric is an apt adjective for Static  Dress, everything from the merchandise to the music is all encompassing and those that have the privilege to experience it live will feel like they're part of something much bigger.

Minor technical hitches meant that the audio bytes interspersed throughout the show fell slightly flat on occasion, sometimes detracting from the crowd's enjoyment but the band can't be faulted for it.

A hard-core fan base befitting of the hard-core sound, Static Dress' headline show was one to remember.
