Four-piece SWEETS, who hail from Limerick, Ireland have released their second single 'Dead Ends' which follows up the band's triumphant debut single 'Charm Offensive'

'Dead Ends' starts teasingly before launching an intense underlying riff. The full-throttle main riff is catchy and bold. The vocal belies the intensity of the music; it is relaxed, airy and dream-like.

SWEETS features members of much-loved Limerick bands Windings, Tooth and Giveamanakick. Drawing from their collective experiences and influences, they have collaborated to produce a pounding, rhythmic single that serves as a glorious second release.

Formed in the shadows of the Covid-19 pandemic, (“It took a pandemic to finally get us together, it’s just felt like the right time.”), SWEETS are planning on releasing several singles throughout 2023 as well as an album towards the end of the year. With praise from John Kennedy (Radio X) and various music press, SWEETS are gaining well-deserved recognition from the industries tastemakers.

'Dead Ends' serves as a prime follow-up to their debut release and it is a worthy introduction for anyone yet to discover the hard-rocking band. You can listen to the track below.
