The Manchester based solo artist Daisy Harris is set to release the music video for her emotive track 'Known', which is taken from her critically acclaimed EP 'Forest Girl Rock'.

Daisy Harris has slowly built a reputation for producing genre-fluid, captivating songs that hark back to the glory days of 90's shoegaze.

A multi talented musician (vocals/guitar/banjo and ukulele are amongst the skills she possesses), Daisy has already worked her way around the showcase circuit in Glasgow and she can be seen shining on the Manchester music scene. Her next show is on Saturday the 25th of March at The Peer Hat, Manchester. Tickets are on sale now here.

'Known', for which the music video premieres on Friday at 8pm, was recorded and produced in her cousin DAVOLI’s studio, which is based in Nottingham. The result is a track that features Daisy Harris's emotive vocals and delicate guitars. The acoustic melodies underpin heartfelt and personal lyrics (I learned to sing just to sing your name / And I don’t know a lot of things / But I knew you right away”.

The single was released at the end of last year, and now Hannah Clair has conceptualised accompanying visuals that emphasise and bring out the emotive nature of the track through stunning animations and bursts of colour.

The endearing video depicts two souls meeting and finding each other in every Universe. The video is a shining example of Hannah’s artistry and  it gives Daisy’s lyrics a whole other dimension to experience them in.

Talking on the ‘Known’ music video, Harris comments, “ was so unbelievably honoured that my song inspired such a beautiful and meaningful work of art.  The video gives me goosebumps and is such a perfect visual for ‘Known'".

'Known' is taken from Daisy Harris's ‘Forest Girl Rock’ EP which was released in early December.
