Hailing from Ashby De La Zouch, performer Alexander Joseph has recently released his supportive EP 'Stop And Breathe' - a collection of four individual songs that combine to form a breath-taking release.

Folk-rock is a popular genre for singer songwriters and Alexander Joseph does it with aplomb. Each track is unique - the title track is a stand out for us. A song that aches for the protagonist to escape and to find space and a helping hand. Beautifully written, it is emotional and personal. The opener 'I Wanna Believe' addresses the immediate and growing concern of global warming while the other two track here - 'Guiding Star' and 'Awake' explore themes of finding direction in life and the importance of having an open mind respectively. Sat together, these four songs provide an interesting insight into Alexander Joseph's psyche.

As well as being a talented songwriter, Alexander Joseph is earthly minded - he has partnered with 'One Tree Planted' for the release of the EP and he will be donating 50% of proceeds from streams and downloads to help support One Tree Planted's vital global reforestation work.

The musician  has previously received support from the BBC and Amazing Radio, with previous single release 'Invincible' being a firm favourite of BBC Introducing. His debut EP. 'Anything Is Possible', spawned two tracks that featured on Channel 4’s The Superhumans Show before the Paralympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
