Mitchell Young, having shed the skin of YVNGERROR, recently released his phenomenal single 'Silent Parade'. Clocking in at just over two minutes, it is a visceral punch to the gut that leaves the listener reeling long after listening.
The spirit of post-punk is evident however 'Silent Parade' thankfully avoids falling into landfill territory. It is as authentic as it is gritty, with Young taking a direct approach, not just in the song length but in its output. The artist himself says of the track: " This track walks that line between struggle and freedom, built on raw emotion, real stories, and a sound that hits like late-night city lights." and it is difficult to disagree.
Recorded at Audio Haus, London, 'Silent Parade' has already received UK radio play via VibeFM but there is something, with respect, altogether bigger surrounding Mitchell Young. It is no understatement when we state that this song is phenomenal. In an industry where many outlets offer lip service to artists in their reviews, we genuinely feel that this is one of the most exciting and energetic releases that we have discovered since launching over five years ago.

As YVNGERROR, he showcased his creativity and experimentation. Now. we think that Mitchell Young seems to have found his niche. Lyrically, 'Silent Parade' displays tight writing - the rhymes aren't too obvious and flow flawlessly. The content political but not overly so; it is a motivational wake up call.
