The Underclass To Release 'The One' This Friday

In the early days of Our Sound Music we ran a voting competition to find 'The Best New Band In Britain' which The Underclass promptly won. With an Army of supporters, the band are one of the most effective and active on social media.

'The One' is their new single set for release this Friday with the pre-order vinyl stock already sold out. The Underclass are five lads from Stoke making guitar driven indie rock anthems. The term 'anthems' gets thrown around a lot in the music media - The Underclass's music is the definite example.

With drummer Theo recently leaving the band, they recruited original band drummer Adam and have proceeded without a hiccup - with gigs lined up and music recorded, The Underclass ready to take 2021 by storm.

So, 'The One'. The immediate impression is how incredible the production is - the sound is smooth while maintaining an indie rock edge. It is a terrace anthem, a song made for singing along to in a packed, hot, sweaty room surrounded by others sharing the moment. We listen to a lot of music here at Our Sound and I can't remember being as excited by a band or a release as this.

The One’ is available on all major streaming platforms from February 5th 2021, and is also in the physical formats of 7” Vinyl and CD via www.theunderclass.co.uk.
