Fitzroy Holt has released 'Kelly', his debut single that is an ode to his experiences with working with the homeless.
Hoping to bring love and awareness to the homeless community, and more acutely in Wolverhampton, 'Kelly' is an easy listen and Holt clearly has a talent for telling a story within his songwriting.
Of the single, Holt says: "I want to use my music to help people, not many people find themselves with platforms around them which allow them to spread awareness for important issues and causes they believe in. I have also found the people who do, will often shy away from reaching out in fear of controversy. So, I saw 'Kelly' as a way to hopefully make a positive impact to people’s lives”

Fitzroy Holt worked with the renowned Gavin Monaghan (Ocean Colour Scene, The Twang) on the single, which was written last year during the first national lockdown.
'Kelly' is a welcome introduction to the socially conscious songwriting of FItzroy Holt, and us here at Our Sound Music look forward to hearing more from the artist.
'Kelly' is out now on all major streaming platforms.
