Driven by a constant battle between happiness and heartache, love and loss, Chris Conroy has dropped his latest release early this June, the last track on his debut EP.

The new song, titled ‘Wolves’, continues to explore the mercurial temperament of the creations that Conroy has already pieced together, engulfing the layered music production with his emphatically passionate vocals.

Originally being attuned to listening to popular artists such as Ed Sheeran, Tom Grennan and Bon Iver when growing up, as Chris has aged, his taste in music has changed alongside it. Now drawing influences from Hip Hop and RnB, the Portlaoise-born singer/songwriter boasts a plethora of sounds, ensuring that he embellishes his own unique blend of sounds.

Although only being his third release on Spotify, the industrious musician already has a wealth of experiences to add to his CV. His previous tracks, ‘Dive’ and ‘Sink or Swim’ received great blog and radio support from the likes of Dublin fm104, LMFM and Irish Music.

Being an Irish musician himself, the plaudits he has received across the country he has fallen in love with means more, so when Hotpress featured ‘Dive’ as Track of The Day, and Golden Plec added it to their New Irish Music Playlist, it validated his potential to reach his own lofty ambitions.

'Wolves' is out now on all major streaming platforms and you can also listen to the track below.
