Velvet Starlings, the psych garage-rock outfit from LA, with roots in the UK, have today released 'Technicolour Shakedown', the second single to come from the quartets new upcoming new album.

Beginning raucously, the blistering track never lets up for the full three minutes.  Singer/guitarist Christian Gisborne
"The track kicks off with an instantly infectious frenetic guitar riff over Kinks style rhythm as it builds into a blast-off “sing & chant along” chorus inviting the crowd to, “turn it up & turn it on”. The song is an anthemic ode to going out and to the live music experience and colourfully describing the energy of catching
your favourite band on the local scene and being packed in a venue “like sardines” - and loving every minute of it!"

The music video is a delight; the 60's psychedelic aesthetic is immediately captivating and fits 'Technicolour Shakedown' to a tee:

The sound is The KInks meet The Doors, with the band's own contemporary twist. 'Technicolour Shakedown' is all out rock n roll. With an album coming in October (with the same name), the future is bright for the young band, who have perfectly fused the  sound of Sixties British rock with the fresh sound of the West coast of LA.

'Technicolour Shakedown' is out now on all major streaming platforms.
