A glimmering, kaleidoscopic chime will hit you like the warm breeze when you step off a plane in a foreign country when you first turn up the volume on Mark Remmington’s latest release. Both progressive and absorbing, ‘Space Person Blues’ is sure to keep you guessing what is to come around every corner.

The multi-instrumentalist has returned to follow up his success from his very well received debut solo release ’12 Weeks’ by shifting up a gear from singer-songwriter mode to full electronic prog-pop.

Working on his next album, this new Sci-Fi themed electronic, fun, rocking, atmospheric piece will feature guest performances of friends from throughout his former career as a session guitarist and other bands and musical projects from over the years.

Accompanying a music video riffing on classic 60’s sci-fi as well as performance footage, ‘Space Person Blues’ is referred to by Mark as a mission statement rather than a track. It serves up a dish of what’s to come for Remmington and friends, and it promises an entertaining new era.
