Written for the people who have stayed up all night waiting to hear from somebody, “ Love Hangover” is the perfect heartbreak anthem.
Chris Jobe is a talented singer-songwriter who wrote, produced , mixed and performed “ Love Hangover” all by himself. This talented artist moved to Nashville, Tennessee when he was 18 years old in order to pursue his dream of a career in music. Chris gained regional success with rock project Nodaway before going solo and starting his pop career.
Singles released by Chris include “Thank You Internet” in 2017, which went viral. “Cry”, “Lonely Lives” and “Make It All Better” were self-produced tracks that gained strong editorial support from the likes of Spotify’s Fresh Finds Playlists, Earmilk, Ones To Watch and Billboard.
This string of successful singles was followed by Chris making it onto NBC’s Season 1 of Songland, with Macklemore. Chris performed “It Could’ve Been You” an anthem condemning violence. Although he did not win , this track propelled him onto receiving national coverage.
Like many musicians, Jobe felt the effects of the pandemic, losing his deal with his label and making the decision to move back to his home state of Ohio and began working in construction. Fast forward to 2022 and Chris made the decision to push the restart button as he moved back to Venice, California to reignite his music career.
Chris returned to the spotlight with “Nostalgia” his wavy-pop single which received far reaching playlist and blog support along with strong support for his Psychoactive Industries merch line.
With a plan to release a more rockier single next before moving onto a 7-song EP, Chris Jobe is back with “ Love Hangover” the perfect heartbreak track that blends genres off bedroom-boss with jazz and acoustic punk. “ Love Hangover” is out now on all major streaming platforms.
