Using his distinctive voice and talented musicianship to drive his music forward, Finn Forster is back with a brand-new single. Following the overwhelming success of recent single ‘Fly’ reaching no.5 in the iTunes pop charts and no.11 globally, ‘Call You Mine’ has the weight of the world on its shoulder in continuing the rosy trajectory of Forster’s discography.

By blending indie pop and folk while showcasing the unparalleled ability Finn has to combine lyrics and melody to create a relatable tune, the new single certainly lives up to its billing.

Talking about the new single, he said: “I don’t think you can get any more real song wise than Call You Mine, I remember being sat at the end of my bed in the house I was renting at that time in central Middlesbrough, at the time I was gigging up to 4 times a week, heading to countless open mics and paving my way with no real plan at that time of what I wanted as an artist.

I suddenly felt I’d been hit with some hard truths and realisations that how much you truly have to go after something if you want it enough. I picked up my guitar, and had the 1st verse and chorus pretty much right away. Ever so often I get a huge release after songwriting, almost like a weight off my shoulders and clearing of the mind.

This certainly happened with Call You Mine. You don’t get that feeling unless you’ve truly written from a place of truth. For me that’s the best part about songwriting, because I know how much that will now go on to resonate with listeners.”

2022 has been a milestone year for the Teesside artist, who embarked on a successful UK headline tour, supported the likes of Craig David, The Reytons, Sam Fender, and recently had the most successful single campaign of his journey yet.

In ‘Call You Mine’, Finn takes another step towards making his musical dreams a reality. His astounding vocals and relatable lyrics alone will get him far.
