The Huddersfield-based quartet Boxteles recently released their ferocious new single 'Hindsight', a song that captures the essence of the band to the fullest.

'Hindsight' is fast paced, furious and in your face. It follows up recent single 'harry & Bruce' in fine fashion, cementing Boxteles intentions for 2023.

About their new single, the band said: "It’s a fast paced indie pop track about looking back on a relationship and your perception of it all after the fact. It’s about missing certain memories of past loves more than the all-round reality of the situation. We all have the benefit of hindsight but not necessarily the ability of looking back in a logical way."

The band formed in 2018 and they have previously recorded with Mike Spink (The 1975, Jake Bugg). Not ones to stand still or wallow in their comfort zone, the evolution of Boxteles is clear to hear; the band has seemed to grow with each release with heavier riffs and greater intensity clearly on display.

Boxteles are Tom Bedford (lead vocals & rhythm guitar), Ollie Harrison (lead guitar), Alex
Richardson (bass) and Oliver Perry (drums). All of the members have had previous experience in music and as such their collective skills have combined to create one of the North's if not UK's most exciting emerging bands. This new single, 'Hindsight' is their best yet and is a shining example of what can be produced when a band continues to learn and evolve together. A triumph.
