Indie-rock five-piece Segarra have released their astounding new single 'A Million Times Before' which follows-up their genre defining previous single release 'Shine A Light (On Me)'.

The band have seemingly leaped straight out of lockdown with a statement of intent on 'A Million Times Before' and have picked up any momentum they may have lost due to the global pandemic and the halt of live music over the last two years.

Fronted by Oli Wade, who delivers a passionate and authentic vocal on this new release, Segarra are made up of Luke Hooton on lead guitar, Josh Holloway (rhythm guitar and backing vocals), Liam Cox (bass) and Callum Friend (drums).  Based in the East Midlands area, the exciting band are influenced by Oasis and The Strokes amongst others and they draw from their influences wisely.

There is a huge 'wall of sound' on 'A Million Times Before', formed from the vibrant guitar and thumping drums which begs for the track to be listened to at full volume. The song is non-stop and comes at the listener full pelt yet it doesn't shy away from having a strong melody. Anthemic is an overused description but it suits the song perfectly. Raw yet well produced, 'A Million Times Before' is the sound of a band with something to say and they saying it with a hungry energy and real passion.

Segarra are shortly returning to the studio to work on their debut EP which is something we can't wait to hear, and if their previous single releases are anything to go by, will be something very special. Their sound on 'A Million Times Before' invites the listener to wonder how Segarra fare in a live environment , such is the gusto of the track. The band have a string of upcoming live dates including this Friday at The Bodega, Nottingham supporting The Luka State, at The Grey Lantern in Birmingham on the 25th of November with Gazelle and what will be a hot ticket, a headline show on December the 3rd at The Chapel in Nottingham.
