The incredibly endearing indie-rock band The Lathums have announced a special one-off show for early next year at the iconic and world-famous Empress Ballroom in Blackpool. Taking place on Saturday the 9th of April, tickets are on sale this Friday at 9am via this link.

This special announcement comes ahead of the release of the Wigan-based band's highly anticipated debut album, 'How Beautiful Life Can Be' which is released on the 24th of this month. The Lathums are a real word-of-mouth success story and witnessing their meteoric rise over the last two years has been something to behold.

Scouse singer-songwriter Jamie Webster will be joining The Lathums at Blackpool Tower for the show, playing what is bound to be a captivating support set. Webster's album, 'We Get By' was released last year to great acclaim.

There seems to be no stopping The Lathums and their continued rise to the top. The Empress Ballroom show in Blackpool is destined to sit alongside other legendary gigs to take place at the venue, such as when Oasis and The Stone Roses each packed out the ballroom.
