Rianne Downey has complimented her fresh EP “Fuel To The Flame” with a tour around the country, starting in Sheffield and finishing in Scottish Glasgow.

The music video is beautifully quirky with a retro feel, aiding Downey’s natural and melodic voice as the animated video depicts the song “Start Again’.

There is a clear image of tranquillity and nostalgia from a video reminiscent of a prominent piece from decades ago.

The two elements of the final piece fit together seamlessly, with the animated Downey’s voyage, armed with a cute dog and trusty guitar, providing a truly pleasant audio and video experience:

Downey has already completed her first two gigs of the tour, at the O2 Academies in Sheffield and Leeds respectively, and will continue her journey at Manchester Victoria Warehouse.

Through this maiden period of the tour, Rose is serving as a support act for The Lathums, a prominent English indie band with a number of renowned hits.

The singer-songwriter, originally plying her trade from native Glasgow, will indeed see the tour culminate on home soil, after leaving her mark across Britain as a new gripping indie artist.

For the EP, Downey hoped to convey a feeling of worth and purpose that music bestowed upon her, as well as finding the focus and tenacious approach to both her career and the broader picture.

She said, We shouldn’t look into the past; it doesn’t serve us anymore and I wrote ‘Start Again’ to myself to remind me of that.

“I have always been too harsh on myself and have had to learn to trust my own instincts, people would pay me compliments and I’d never believe them. But you need to believe in yourself and do the things you love. I do this because I love it.”

Downey will complete her remaining tour dates across the next number of months, with the specifics relating to venue and date detailed below.
